Recipe of the Day: Grace Bong
- 1 slab of Korean American
- 1 jug of LGBTQIA+
- 1 julienned female
- 1 sprinkling of bartender/barista
- 1 dash of wittiness
Take your slab of Korean American, slather on that LGBT+ and bake for 40min at 400F. Combine your julienned female with some bartener/barista and a dash of wittiness into a large bowl and toss. Serve your slab hot and sizzling with a side of cool seasoned julienne.
Background
I love to create things, whether it be cooking, writing poetry, programming or making drinks. I love the mental stimulation and innovative solutions that comes with the process of creating.
This portfolio is an upgraded version of the mini site that I submitted as part of the Pursuit application. I think this portfolio is an effective measurement of the skills and knowledge I obtained since then. How memorable it would be if my portfolio plunges me into the software engineering industry the way the mini site dipped me into Pursuit...

Torch & Crown, Malibu Farm, Momofuku
2018 - 2021
Being part of the opening team member for each new location strengthened my adaptability, collaboration, communication, fortitude and patience. No industry has strengthened my conviction that teamwork and diligence are a necessity, more than the hospitality industry. Sacrifices? Made. Spirit? Tested. Spicy? Always.
Partners Coffee Roasters, Doughnut Plant
2016 - 2018
Honestly, I worked at Partners Coffee Roasters and Doughnut Plant because I'm a coffee-addict and I love doughnuts. BUT, this was my introduction into learning, tasting and breathing specialty coffee and I can never go back. Partners(previously called Toby's Estate) smacked me silly with their blueberry-bomb-pour-overs and chocolatey-velvety-espresso...and now I'm a spoiled coffee convert.
